MaiGreen is a thematic portfolio that invests with a theme of “building a greener Vietnam” and to support Vietnam’s climate action commitment at COP26.

The portfolio gives exposure to green energy investments, Vietnamese listed equities, and money market securities. One of our spotlight investments is in electric biogas generators that use CH4 gas (a major greenhouse gas) to produce electricity. By investing in MaiGreen, our customers are helping save the environment and build long-term wealth.

When you successfully invest in MaiGreen, the invested amount will generate profits daily. The first profit amount will start to be calculated on the next working day and will be recorded on the following day.

For example, if you invest on 01/02/2024, the starting day for profit calculation will be 02/02/2024 and it will be recorded on 03/02/2024.

With MaiGreen, you can receive profits monthly  (excluding 5% personal income tax). The actual profit amount will be deposited into your MaiMoney account.

You can withdraw your investments at any time with a profit of 2% per year calculated on the actual number of days invested without receiving interest for that month.

For example, you invest 100 million VND on January 20, 2024:

If you do not withdraw from January 20, 2024, until February 20, 2024: you will receive profits at of 8.5% p.a. for this investment month and it will be deposited into your MaiMoney account. 

The profit for the invested amount is: (100 million x 8.5%/365 x 31 days)*95%

If you decide to withdraw the entire balance after 15 days, you will receive a profit of 2% p.a. on the withdrawn investment amount, and the profit will be deposited into your MaiMoney account. 

The profit for this amount is: (100 million x 2%/365 x 14 days)*95%

Investments in MaiGreen offer a profit return rate of 7.5% per year for the first three months and 8.5% per year for subsequent months. 

If, within any month, you engage in withdrawal activities (whether partial or full), the profit return rate applicable for that entire month (for both the withdrawn and remaining invested portion) will be adjusted to 2% per year.

In the following month, the profit return will revert to the initial target rate (7.5% per year for the first three months and 8.5% per year thereafter).

You can invest multiple times, and your investment portfolio will accumulate into a single MaiGreen investment with a minimum limit of 20,000,000 VND and a maximum limit of 1,000,000,000 VND per account. 

In the event that a customer invests additional funds before the next profit return distribution date, the profit return for the entire investment will still be paid on the customer's previously specified date. The profit return for each investment will be calculated based on the actual number of days invested within that month.

For example: You invest in Investment 1 on January 15, 2024, and invest in Investment 2 on January 20, 2024. The profit return for these two investments will be paid by MaiMoney on February 15, 2024, including the profit return calculated for 31 days of investment for Investment  1 and 26 days of investment for Investment 2.

1. You can withdraw a portion or the entirety of your investment at any time. In the case of partial withdrawal, the customer needs to maintain a minimum investment balance of 20,000,000 VND.
2. The maximum investment amount that can be withdrawn per day is 200,000,000 VND.
